Travel by Jeep to Nam Sing Village for 36 Kms.

Coffee stop at PhuPhet PhuKham farm.

Walk through the fields and jungle.

Trek uphill to the viewpoint for lunch.

Challenging hike to the campsite on top of the mountain.

Sunset at Phaling mountain camp.
-
Lao dinner with a nice glass of local rice whisky.

First night camping under a sky full of stars.

Steep downhill trek to the river.

The river flow varies dramatically based on the time of year. At certain times the rapids will require some level of skill to navigate.
Trekking
Most of the trekking in the Nam vang NPA would not be considered easy. The terrain in steep,rugged and covered in dense jungle.
